Although PTAs and PTSAs are not considered fundraising organizations, we must rely on the continued financial support of our members as well as the local community to provide needed items to enhance and strengthen the education of all of our students.
Where does the money go?
Funds received from our Student Store, other PTSA fundraising efforts, and a percentage of your annual PTA membership dues are distributed directly back to the students in the form of grade level funds, enrichment activities, and awareness programs. We work closely with our principal, teachers and staff year-round to determine the greatest need and best course of action in distributing sorely needed funds for the benefit of the most students possible. In these times of deep cuts in education budgets, your support is needed more than ever. Below are a few easy ways you can help us raise funds for our school. Thank you!
TMS PTSA Student Store (on campus):
The TMS PTSA Student Store is open every day during lunch (approx. 11:30 am to 1:30 pm), offering a variety of healthy snacks and drinks for students. We are always in need of parent volunteers to help at the Student Store; if you're interested, please CONTACT THE TMS STUDENT STORE CHAIRMAN.
TMS PTSA Online Store:
The TMS PTSA Online Store, hosted by CafePress.com, offers a wide variety of apparel and gift items with the "Bobcat Pride" logo shown above left. Consider VISITING OUR ONLINE STORE for gifts for your favorite Bobcat or their teacher; or maybe even yourself!
Box Tops for Education:
We all shop for groceries, sometimes two or three times a week –- or more! Now turn those shopping trips into EASY CASH for our school, and encourage friends to do the same! Target Card - "Take Charge of Education®:"
Here's a terrific way to raise funds for our school. It's super-easy, and all you have to do is use your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. Our school receives a percentage of the amount of each purchase in the form of a cash donation from Target through the Take Charge of Education® program. It's easy. Just visit target.com/tcoe, or call 1-800-316-6142 to designate our school (school ID number 29299). So, if you're going to Target anyway, please consider using your Target® Visa® or Target® Card. TMS PTSA neither implements nor administrates the annual magazine drive (QSP) held at the beginning of the school year. This fundraising activity directly benefits the Temecula Middle School Associated Student Body (TMS ASB).
